Mau milih sepeda gunung ya tergantung kita senangnya main di track yg gimana? Mau cross country, downhill atau freeride?
Cross Country (XC)
Jika track yg akan dilalui meliputi rerumputan, lumpur, hutan & sungai mungkin sepeda gunung jenis cross country yg cocok. Di design dengan bobot yg lebih ringan dibanding freeride & downhill, pengendara xc bike dapat melaju dengan lebih cepat & ringan dibanding jika mengendarai downhill (DH) atau freeride bike

Downhill (DH)
Jika track yg akan dilalui banyak turunan, type downhill banyak membantu. DH type di design untuk dapat menyerap shock, lebih stabil, lebih banyak metal dibagian belakang untuk meningkatkan stabilitas waktu menuruni bukit / jumping.

Milih Sepeda Gunung: XC, DH atau Freeride Bike_d10


Freeride
Freeride dipakai bagi mereka yg senang kombinasi downhill dan dirt jumping. Bentuk sepeda sama sangat mirip dengan DH bike cuma beda dikit di;

a) DH pakai double crown fork sedangkan freeride typically pakai single crown fork
b) Freeride di design dengan upright geometri yg lebih dan bottom braket yg lebih tinggi dibanding DH

Nah sekarang bisa milih tuh, sepeda mana yg cocok sesuai dengan character & medan yg disenangi.

Sebetulnya gua asal beli, eh sekarang baru tahu kalau yg tak beli itu sepeda gunung untuk cross country. Ya lumayan untuk muter muter.

aku juga baru beli sepeda, n jg ga tahu kalo ada macam-macam nya kayak diatas. ternyata yang aku beli typr cross country, emang di toko/counter sepeda banyak yang adan type CX ya...
Ada nggak saran pemakaian sepeda yang nyaman dan aman. Thx

Untuk pemula dan yg berumur diatas 30, saya rasa banyak yg merasa cocok dengan type XC (Cross Country).

Untuk yg masih mudah & senang tantangan mungkin DH & Freeride bisa dicoba.

Saran-saran lain kalau terlintas dikepala entar tak kasih tahu ya, he he he.

mungkin untuk pilihan bisa mencoba sepeda AM atau trail bike dengan rear travel 5.5 inch dan fork travel 140 mm....available untuk light DH tetapi masih ringan untuk uphill..........CMIIW
